Dr. Ifriky TADADJEU was born in 1986 in Yaounde, the
capital city of Cameroon. He obtained a BSc in Physics with a
minor in Computer Science from the University of Buea, in
Cameroon. He then travelled to South Africa, where within
the French South African Institute of Technology (F’SATI),
he obtained a BTech, MTech, MSc and Doctorate in Satellite Systems Engineering. He is still active in
the academic field, contributing through his publications
in renowned scientific journals.
As a musician, he started his journey in a church choir at
the age of 15. Learning from music directors, choral conductors, soloists, pianists, books, and workshops, at the age
of 19 he had become assistant music director and a choral
tenor soloist. His hard work earned him the first prize in
local singing competitions as participant and as coach.
He also taught music as he completed his BSc degree in
Physics. In Cape Town, coached by the likes of Professor
Kamal Khan, Wendy Fine and Sally Presant, he sharpened
his skills and earned respect as a lyric as well as cross-over
tenor in Cape Town and Tokyo among other places where
he got to perform. He has written original music for piano,
violin, guitar, cello and vocals among others, in a rather peculiar merger of musical styles. He still composes, releases new music, and participates in major international singing competitions.
As an entrepreneur, among other achievements, he started
Ifriky (Pty) Ltd through which he houses his projects. He also started a concept called ExpertsMode
to expose people to a large variety fields of
expertise so that they can find what they are really passionate about. He is still actively building his business concepts and his network.
